ENGRAVER^® allows creating a high-quality "engraving artwork" imitation from halftone
images (photos or drawings); at that the imitation will be almost undistinguishable from an engraving, made by hand.

Images, created in engraving style, are often used for designing secure papers, for example,
bills, shares, postage stamps, etc. Such images make the protection level much higher due
to a big amount of various microscopic hatchings. Besides, security paper with the applied
effects looks more aesthetically attractive.

Until recently engravings creation was a very time-consuming process. ENGRAVER® has changed the situation. It is quite easy to work with the software: a designer masks separate
parts of the original image and assigns one of the hatching types for them. A large amount of various hatching tools allows representing almost each surface with shades in any masking
area in a realistic way. Some hatchings can even imitate trembling of the designer's hand.

It is possible to change engraving dimensions not only by scaling the created vector image,
but also by increasing the amount of hatching-fillers by simple parameters readjustment. As
a result, the software creates a vector image that consists of lines of various width.
The engraving image can be offset printed,  etched or  cut on an engraving machine for
creating an intaglio printing plate.
